About Oceania Meat Processors

Oceania Meat Processors was co-founded in 2002 by Peter Cowan and Jim Workman. The mission of the Company was to utilize the latest mechanically de-boning processing equipment in order to provide the pet food industry with high quality MDM products.

Peter Cowan - Managing Partner

Peter is an Engineer with 20 years experience specializing in MDM processing facilities, applications, systems, and facility management. He is fully versed in complying with MAF requirements for pet food processing plants and the criteria for exporting product to Asia, the EU and North America.

Jim Workman - Partner, CFO

Jim has 35 years experience in the food industry, specializing in procurement and commodities. For the past 20 years he has been involved with MDM operations in New Zealand as well as careers in Management and Finance.

Eric Carlson - Partner, North American Sales

Eric has 34 years experience in the sales and marketing of consumable products. Since 2002, he has concentrated his sales and marketing analysis background in the pet food industry. Eric became a partner of OMP in 2005.
